Men's Basketball Wins Conference Game vs. Mountain View

MESQUITE, Texas -- Dallas College Eastfield's men's basketball team beat Dallas College Mountain View, 111-100, Wednesday night in Dallas Athletic Conference action.

DQuarius Burton scored 21 points, going 6 of 11 from the floor and 7 of 8 from the free throw line. He added four assists, four steals and a block. Dwayne Reliford finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and a block. He shot 7 of 12 from the floor. Tylan Harris had 16 points on 5 of 9 three-point shooting, and had six assists and two steals. Torian Harris scodred 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting, and had two steals. Tyler Jones had 17 points, 10 boards, five assists and two steals, while shooting 5 of 9. Amari Williams scored 14 points, and had seven assists, a steal and a block. 

The 10th-ranked Harvester Bees finished with 29 assists, and shot 50 percent, going 37 of 74. Eastfield was 16 of 35 from long distance for 45.7 percent.  

The Harvester Bees are now 4-3 in conference play with three must-win games remaining before the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District Tournament Feb. 28-March 4. 

Eastfield hosts Dallas College Brookhaven 1 p.m. Saturday.
