Adams Named DAC Pitcher of Week

Dallas College Eastfield's Bryan Adams was chosen as the Dallas Athletic Conference baseball Pitcher of the Week.

A sophomore right-handed pitcher from Andrews, Texas, Adams pitched five scoreless innings, and allowed two hits and no walks, while striking out eight batters in a 4-3 loss to NJCAA Division II Des Moines Area Community College Saturday.

It was Adams' third appearance of the season. He has one save, has not allowed a run, and has 15 strikeouts this year.

Eastfield (9-4) travelled to Tyler Junior College Monday for a nonconference game, and will open DAC play noon Wednesday against Dallas College Mountain View.
