Conway Named Offensive MVP, 3 Harvesters All-Tournament Team

NJCAA DIII ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Dallas College Eastfield's Cade Conway was named the Offensive Player of the Tournament at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III World Series.

A sophomore outfielder from Paris, Texas, Conway batted .438 with two home runs, nine runs batted in, four walks, 11 stolen bases and seven runs scored in five games at Pioneer Park as the Harvester Bees finished as the national runner-up for the second straight year.

Sophomore second baseman Gus Witt and sophomore outfielders Jayden Morgan and Kyson Snelson were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Witt, of Kilgore, Texas, was 9-for-19 with three doubles, a triple, four RBI, three walks, two stolen bases and six runs scored at the World Series. He hit safely in every game. Morgan, a native of Edgewood, Texas, went 6-for-16 with a double, triple, home run, five RBI, three walks, three stolen bases and five runs scored. Snelson, of San Angelo, Texas, was 8-for-15 with a double, five RBI, three walks, four stolen bases and five runs scored.

Eastfield went 48-12.
