Bees Baseball Finish Among National Leaders

NJCAA DIII BASEBALL STATISTICAL LEADERS

Dallas College Eastfield sophomore left fielder Cade Conway finished the season third in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III in stolen bases, fourth in runs scored, eighth in home runs, tied for eighth in walks, tied for 10th in hits and tied for sixth in sacrifice flies.

Harvester Bees sophomore first baseman Angel Rodriguez was second in walks, third in runs batted in, tied for fifth in runs scored, tied for sixth in home runs and eighth in hits.

Sophomore third baseman Manny Moore finished the year tied for sixth in doubles and tied for fifth in walks. Sophomore second baseman Gus Witt was third in walks and tied for seventh in RBI. Sophomore shortstop Hunter O'Shea was fourth in walks. Sophomore right fielder Jayden Morgan was tied for eighth in walks, and tied for sixth in sacrifice flies.

Freshman pitcher Ryan Dickey was tied for fifth in wins. Sophomore pitcher Cody Ausmus finished tied for ninth in wins.

Conway, a product of Paris, Texas, had 61 stolen bases, 79 runs, 14 home runs, 40 walks, 83 hits, and six sacrifice flies. A native of Tyler, Texas, Rodriguez finished with 52 walks, 84 RBI, 78 runs, 16 home runs and 84 hits.

Moore, of Van, Texas, had 21 doubles and 44 walks. Witt, of Kilgore, Texas, had 49 walks and 73 RBI. A product of Rockwall, Texas, O'Shea drew 46 walks. Morgan, of Edgewood, Texas, had 40 walks and six sacrifice flies.

A right-hander from Rockwall, Texas, Dickey had nine victories on the mound. A right-hander from Paris, Texas, Ausmus had eight wins.
