Do Named DAC Pitcher of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's Tyler Do was selected as the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

A sophomore from Sugar Land, Texas, Do went the distance in an 8-1 win over No. 4 Dallas College Richland last week. He had a career-high nine strikeouts, and allowed three hits, two walks and an unearned run in his nine innings of work.

Do improved to 2-1 with a 4.34 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 45.2 innings this season.

No. 2 Eastfield (31-4, 12-0 DAC) will host North Central Texas College 12 p.m. Monday before finishing the first round of conference play in a three-game series with Dallas College Brookhaven beginning noon Wednesday on the road.
