Dyer Named DAC Pitcher of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's Ryan Dyer was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

A sophomore right hander from North Richland Hills, Texas, Dyer tossed seven innings, allowing three hits, an unearned run and two walks, while striking out five batters in a 10-2 win over Dallas College Brookhaven to salvage the finale of the three-game series. It was his longest outing of the season.

Dyer improved to 3-0 with a 3.76 ERA and 35 strikeouts this season.

Eastfield (33-6, 13-2 DAC) will play at LeTourneau University's Junior Varsity 3 p.m. Monday before beginning a three-game series at Dallas College Cedar Valley (15-18, 4-11) at 12 p.m. Wednesday.
