Williford Named DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's Joshua Williford has been selected the Dallas Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

It is the second time this season he was chosen for the league's weekly honor.

A 6-foot-4 sophomore guard from Houston, Williford scored 34 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and had five steals and two blocks in Eastfield's 79-77 win at Dallas College Mountain View. He was 13 of 19 from the floor and 8-for-10 at the free throw line.

Williford is averaging 17 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.

Eastfield (15-11, 4-2 DAC) plays at Dallas College Brookhaven 6 p.m. Wednesday.
