Bio

Paul Tate was named head women's soccer coach at Dallas College Eastfield in 2018.

In 2023, the Harvester Bees advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District semifinals before falling, 1-0, to eventual national champion Dallas College Brookhaven. Eastfield beat Dallas College North Lake, 5-1, in the district quarterfinals. The Bees went unbeaten in three straight games at the end of the season, posting two ties before falling in the South District semifinals. One of the draws came against No. 3 nationally-ranked Dallas College Richland. Goalkeeper Breanna Loftin, midfielder Haylee Torres and defender Bailey Beam earned All-Dallas Athletic Conference honors. Loftin was named the league's Goalkeeper of the Year. 

In 2022, Eastfield went 5-10-1 overall, 3-8-0 in the conference before bowing out in the Mid-South District quarterfinals. The Harvesters beat North Lake and Cedar Valley in back-to-back games to open conference play. They finished the regular season with a shutout win over Dallas Christian College. Torres was a First Team All-DAC selection, while Andrea Marentes and Juliana Martinez were Second Team All-DAC picks.

In 2021, the Harvesters went 5-13-1, 3-7-1 in the DAC. Eastfiield posted back-to-back wins over North Lake and Cedar Valley to end the regular season. The Bees fell to Jefferson College in the district quarterfinals. 

In 2019, Tate guided the Harvester Bees to a 10-8 overall and 5-5 DAC record. Eastfield blanked Cedar Valley, 2-0, in the district quarterfinals before falling to Richland in the semifinals. Eastfield opened the season with a win over Cisco College, and posted back-to-back victories at Paul Quinn College and against Western Texas College. The Harvesters ran off three straight wins in league play, including shutouts over Cedar Valley and at Dallas College Mountain View.

In his first season at Eastfield in 2018, Tate directed the Harvester Bees to a 6-11 overall and 3-8 conference mark. The Harvester Bees advanced to the district semifinals. Tate's first win with the program came on Aug. 30, 2018 when the Bees shut out Ranger College, 1-0, in nonconference action. He picked up his first win in conference play on Sept. 18, 2018 in a 3-1 victory over Cedar Valley. The Harvesters recorded four shutouts during the season, including back-to-back clean sheets against Southwestern Adventist University and Mountain View. They beat Mountain View, 2-1, in the district quarterfinals before falling to Brookhaven in the semifinals.
