Volleyball Victorious Over SWCC

MESQUITE, Texas -- Dallas College Eastfield's volleyball team moved to 7-0 on the season with a 3-0 win over Southwestern Christian College Tuesday night. Eastfield took control of the match early, cruising to a 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 victory.

The No. 9 nationally-ranked Harvester Bees continued their winning ways in their first home match of the season, getting five or more kills from five different players, with sophomore Aleyna Gerlach leading the way with 10. The offense cranked out 43 kills for the match, adding to its nation-leading kills per game average. The Bees also tallied 10 service aces and 62 digs for the match. 

The team returns to home action on Friday against Southwestern Adventist at noon and Seminole State at 4 p.m.
