Volleyball Turns Away Cedar Valley

Mesquite, TX - On Monday night, the Eastfield Harvester Bees defeated the visiting Cedar Valley Suns in 3 sets.  The win keeps the Bees in first place in the DAC with a 7-0 record.  Eastifield is 26-0 overall and currently ranked #1 in the country.

The match started slow, with both teams exchanging some early errors, but Eastfield went on a run to win the first set 25-12.  The Harvester Bees jumped out to an early lead in both sets 2 and 3, winning both sets by the score of 25-12.  On the night, Eastfield was led by Brenly Walker, Azoria Davis and Amber Smart on offense, with setters Taryn Doiron, Denee Cullum and Kristi Hinze all steering the Bees to a .333 team hitting percentage.

Eastfield returns to action on Thursday at home against Mountain View.  First serve is scheduled for 6 PM.
