Eastfield Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule

MESQUITE, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's volleyball team will open the season Aug. 23.

The defending National Junior College Athletic Association Division III champion Harvester Bees will meet Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College at 10 a.m. Aug. 23 at Dallas College North Lake before returning home to host the Eastfield Tournament that same day. The Bees meet Independence Community College at 6 p.m. on opening day, while playing host to Cloud County Community College and Ranger College the following day in the Hive.

The following weekend, the Bees compete at the Ranger/Cisco Tournament against the likes of Western Texas College and Coffeyville Community College Aug. 30 at Ranger and Cisco College and Seminole State College at Cisco Aug. 31.

Eastfield hosts Temple College Sept. 3 and Rose State College Sept. 7 before venturing off to Temple Sept. 14. The Harvesters will compete in the Blinn College Invitational Sept. 20-21 against the likes of Tyler Junior College, Hill College, College of DuPage and Jefferson County College.

The Bees will open the Dallas Athletic Conference portion of the schedule Sept. 23 at North Lake. They host Dallas College Richland in the first league match in the Hive Sept. 25.

Eastfield will break up conference play with one last tournament at the Cowley Volleyball Invitational Sept. 27-28 for matches against Metropolitan Community College, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Central Community College and Cowley College.

The Bees return from that trip to Kansas to host Dallas College Mountain View Sept. 30. They wrap up nonconference regular season play at Rose State Oct. 5 before hosting Dallas College Brookhaven Oct. 7 for the completion of the first round of DAC play. They begin the second half of league play against North Lake Oct. 10 in the Hive. The regular season concludes Oct. 24 at Brookhaven.

The NJCAA Division III South District Tournament runs Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at the site of the DAC regular season champion. The NJCAA Division III National Tournament is Nov. 14-16 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
