Anderson Named DAC Offensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield volleyball's McKenzie Anderson was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

It is the second time this season Anderson received the honor. 

A 6-foot-1 sophomore middle blocker from Liberty, Texas, hit .435 with 23 kills and three errors in 46 attacks as the top-ranked Harvester Bees won both matches last week, clinching the DAC regular season title. Anderson had 17 kills and two blocks, and hit .368 in a four-set win over fifteenth-ranked Dallas College Richland. She had six kills and no errors in eight swings for a .750 attack percentage, while playing two sets, in a sweep of Dallas College Mountain View to clinch the conference championship.

Anderson is hitting .366 with 248 kills and 64 blocks this season.

Eastfield (26-1, 8-0 DAC) hosts Dallas College Cedar Valley (2-19, 0-8) at 6 p.m. Monday. The Harvesters conclude the regular season 6 p.m. Thursday at No. 11 Dallas College Brookhaven (14-11, 5-3).
